Employee pepper-sprayed in Georgina convenience store robbery, police say

Police are seeking the two male suspects, who allegedly stole items and fled the store early this morning

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance to identify two suspects following a robbery at a convenience store in the Town of Georgina.

On Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at approximately 4 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a convenience store on The Queensway South in the area of Lakeview Boulevard, for a report of a robbery. Two male suspects entered the store and sprayed the employee with a substance believed to be pepper spray. The males then stole items and fled the store.

The suspects were described as:

  • Male, white
  • 15 to 17 years
