Cash, cigarettes stolen in Vaughan robbery

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance in identifying four suspects following a robbery at a convenience store in the City of Vaughan. On Sunday, April 21, 2019, at approximately 8:45 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a convenience store on Islington Avenue, north of Highway 7, for a report of a robbery.

Four male suspects entered the store wearing masks and stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes. The suspects fled in a black, older-model Honda Accord. The suspects were described as male, Black, in their early 20s wearing black masks and gloves and armed with knives. No one was injured during the incident.
