Carjacked Lamborghini recovered undamaged in Bolton

Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit have recovered a vehicle and are seeking suspects following a carjacking in the City of Markham. On Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, at 8:50 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a residence on Sylvia Court for a report of a carjacking.

Officers learned a male victim had been shot and three male suspects, wearing masks and black clothing, stole the victim’s red Lamborghini SUV. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

On Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at approximately 10 a.m., an officer with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) located the stolen vehicle in an industrial area on Commercial Road in Bolton. The vehicle was not damaged and will be examined for evidence.

Investigators are appealing to any witnesses, anyone with residential video surveillance or anyone driving in the area at the time who may have a dashcam, to please come forward. This investigation is ongoing.
