The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad is requesting the public's assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada-wide warrant as a result of his breach of a long-term supervision order.
Simon Gares is described as Caucasian male, 41, 5 feet 10 inches (178 cm) tall, 177 lbs (80 kgs) with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Gares is serving a seven-year long-term supervision order as a result of a conviction for assault causing bodily harm, according to the OPP.
The offender is known to frequent the Kingston and Toronto areas of Ontario.
