Caledon home invasion sends one to hospital

Police ask for public assistance to locate two suspects

CALEDON, ON - On Thursday, Nov. 22, 2018 at approximately 11 p.m., officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were dispatched to a home invasion on Highway 10 near The Grange Side Road, in the Town of Caledon.

Two male suspects made their way to the upper apartment of the residence where they forced their way into the residence and demanded drugs and money. A knife was brandished by one of the suspects. The victim was physically assaulted by both suspects.

The suspects fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money and a 50" television.

The victim was transported to hospital as a result of his injury and has since been released.

The two suspects are described as:

  • Male, black, approximately 6' in height, mid 20s with a bald/shaved head, slim build, light coloured jacket, dark pants, light coloured belt, black shoes, with a red bandana
  • Male, black, approximately 6' in height, grey jogging pants, brown jacket.

The suspects fled in a silver SUV, similar to a Toyota Rav4.
