An Aurora house fire Saturday may have been intentionally set, according to investigators who are now appealing for help in the case.

On Feb. 25 at about 8:20 p.m., York Regional Police were called to a home in the area of Leslie Street, north of Wellington Street, for a report of a fire.

Central York Fire Services also attended and extinguished the fire. No one was injured.

However, investigators believe it was intentionally set and they are now seeking information about the incident as the investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information, video surveillance, or dashcam footage from the area of Conklin Crescent, Starkweather Drive and Holladay Drive around the time of the fire is asked to come forward.

You can contact YRP's property crimes unit at 1-866-876-5423, ext. 7142 or leave an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online
