Attempted murder charges following overnight stabbing in Vaughan

Investigators with the York Regional Police #4 District Criminal Investigations Bureau have arrested and charged two men, 19 and 23 years, in connection with a stabbing that occurred in the City of Vaughan.

On Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, around 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a hospital in the area of Yonge Street and Regetta Avenue, in Richmond Hill, for a report of an injured person with possible serious injuries. Officers arrived on scene and located a 20-year-old male victim with stab wounds.

Through the investigation, officers identified two suspects connected to the incident and they were charged. They were held in custody and are scheduled to appear in court Dec 3, 2021.

Thanks to citizens who assisted police .with the investigation by calling in tips on the suspects’ location.
