The South Simcoe Police Service has laid charges following an investigation into an assault that occurred during Euro Cup celebrations in Bradford.

On Sunday, July 11, 2021, police responded to a report of a disturbance outside a restaurant on Holland Street West at Drury Street. Upon arrival, police learned that employees and a customer had been assaulted by a group of people trying to enter the restaurant.

As a result of the investigation, police charged three people with the following offences:

  • 50-year-old Paolo Imeneo of Richmond Hill - 2 counts of assault, assault causing bodily harm and cause disturbance.
  • 36-year-old Vincenzo Imeneo of Bradford - assault and cause disturbance.
  • 29-year-old Alesandro Cavallo of Bradford - assault and cause disturbance.

The accused were released with future court dates.
