3 arrested, drugs, luxury car, cash seized in Richmond Hill steroid trafficking ring bust (3 photos)

A large quantity of anabolic steroids, other performance enhancing drugs and controlled substances were seized, with an estimated street value of $400,000, York Regional Police say

York Regional Police has arrested and charged two men and a woman in connection with an anabolic steroid trafficking ring in the City of Richmond Hill.

Between Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2020 and Thursday, Oct. 21, 2020 investigators from #2 District Property Crime executed search warrants at two addresses in the City of Richmond Hill and a third in the City of Vaughan.

As a result, a large quantity of anabolic steroids, other performance enhancing drugs and controlled substances was seized, with an estimated street value in excess of $400,000.

A Mercedes Benz sedan and $30,000 cash was seized as proceeds of crime.

Charged:

Charges include:

  • Trafficking in a schedule IV substance (anabolic steroids)
  • Possession of a schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Exporting a schedule IV substance
  • Possession of a schedule I substance (Oxycodone)
  • Possession of a schedule I substance (cocaine)
  • Possession proceeds of crime

  • Trafficking in a schedule IV substance (anabolic steroids)
  • Possession of a schedule IV substance for the purpose of trafficking
