21-year-old Beeton man dies in Bradford collision Sunday

The South Simcoe Police Service is investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision in Bradford and is appealing for witnesses.

On Sunday, Aug. 15, 2021, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police, fire and paramedics responded to a two-vehicle collision at County Road 27 and Line 9.  

A preliminary investigation has determined that a westbound Ford Mustang collided with a northbound Volkswagon Jetta.

A 21-year-old man from Beeton was pronounced deceased at the scene while a 34-year-old man from Barrie was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

The intersection was closed for several hours while traffic unit officers attended the scene for collision reconstruction.
