Investigators with the York Regional Police Hold-Up Unit are seeking assistance to identify suspects following a bank robbery in the City of Richmond Hill.

On Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at 4 p.m., police were called to a bank located in the area of Bayview Avenue and Redstone Road for a report of a robbery. When officers arrived, they found employees in the bank who were not physically injured. Investigators have determined that two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the bank and made a demand for cash. The employees complied and the suspects fled to an awaiting vehicle that was described as a black, mid-size sedan.

Suspect 1:

  • Male
  • Dark skin
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a black hoodie, black ski mask
  • Armed with a handgun

Suspect 2: 

  • Male
  • Dark skin
  • Medium build
  • Wearing a grey hoodie, grey track pants
