WHITE, Ed

Edward White son of the late Gertrude Lemay, passed away peacefully at his home on March 16, 2023 in his 82nd year. He will be greatly missed by his devoted and loving partner Dawn Irwin. He is predeceased by his son Robert. Ed will be greatly missed by his 3 surviving children, Brian (Donna) White, David White and Joseph White. Grandchildren Michael and Matthew White and great grandchildren. Ed’s career began as a chartered accountant and at the age of 40 attended York University and received his Business Degree with honours. He later attended Law School at Windsor University. Ed practiced Family Law in Newmarket. Ed kept his sons active in hockey growing up and enjoyed all sports. Ed loved music, singing and dancing to his own tune.

The family will receive friends at Roadhouse and Rose at 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 7 - 9 p.m., and on Monday, March 27 from 12 - 2 p.m. followed by a service in the chapel. Burial will be private for Family only. If desired. memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada. Use Roadhouse and Rose Address for mailing acknowledgement card.
