Lamdouane (Lam) Saysinh passed away peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 62 years of age. She was the loving wife of Chanh for 47 years. She was the beloved mother of Kitar, Nina (Virasak Keosongseng), Anny (1981-1991) and Angela. Lam was the proud grandmother of Emalyn, Kasey and Shepherd. Lam was the sister of Somthavone (Phetsamone Simmalavong), Viengphone (Vieng Sengsavang), and Viengphan (Patty). Lam had many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was the eldest daughter of the late Vanhdy and Thongdy Mounphoxay.
Through sponsorship by Grace Church, Lam immigrated to Canada in 1980 and worked at Grace Church Daycare from 1982-2021 as the daycare cook. She accepted the Lord as her Saviour and was baptized in 1982. Lam was a faithful servant and a woman of godly character who loved to serve her Lord, family and friends. She loved to cook delicious meals, sing songs of praise and worship, lead Sunday services at church and spend time gardening at her cottage.
The family would like to thank extended family members, church family and many friends during this difficult time.

A viewing will be held at Roadhouse and Rose Funeral home in Newmarket on August 19, 2022 from 7-9 pm and at Grace Church in Newmarket on August 20 from 10-11 am. A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on August 20, 2022 at Grace Church, Newmarket, followed by interment at Newmarket Cemetery and a luncheon reception at Grace Church.
