It is with great sadness that the family of Susie Saunders announce her passing. Following a lengthy battle with cancer, on the morning of November 13, 2022, Susie passed away peacefully at her home with her husband of 39 years Dave and son Christian by her side.
She was a wonderful daughter to Rinda Petersen and as a true animal lover she thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her furry little Pup, Zeus who will miss her dearly. She was a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed by her family and friends whose lives she touched. Her quick-witted sense of humour will be especially missed.
She was a strong woman who bravely soldiered on during her difficult times.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Southlake who provided her with care and support over the 3 years and the oncology nurses and doctors who helped her through her final weeks.
Her life will be celebrated at a later date, with details to follow.
Susie, you will forever be in our hearts and we will never forget you. Love to you always.
