Passed away peacefully at his home in Newmarket on November 7, 2018 in his 80th year. Loving husband of Maria. Beloved father of Ana and Peter. Proud grandfather of Nicholas, Maggie and Daniel. Son of the late Ion and Natalia Pekurar.
Visitation will be held at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 11 am – 1 pm and 6 – 8 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Holy Forty Martyrs Church, 33 Mosley Street, Aurora at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill.
Following burial, please join the family for refreshments at the Mandarin Restaurant, 16655 Yonge Street, Newmarket.
