Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook – St. John’s Rehabilitation Hospital, Toronto on Saturday March 4, 2023. Irene will be sadly missed by her children Philip (Andrea) and Trish. Loving and proud grandmother to Grace and Alexander. Sister to John (Wendy) and the late Mary, Anne and Paul. Aunt to Scott, Andrew, Rachael, Seanna, Christina, Katherine, Fiona, and great aunt to Massimo, and Abby. Beloved daughter to the late Frederick Klinoski and Rosina (Boyce).
Irene was a long-term resident of Newmarket and worked for the Region of York as a Social Worker for 27 years. She was an active member of the Legion of Mary for over 40 years.
Family and friends may gather at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. South, Newmarket for visitation on Thursday March 9, 2023 from 6-8 pm.
Funeral Mass at St. John Chrysostom Church, 432 Ontario Street, Newmarket on Friday March 10, 2023 at 10 a.m. Refreshments to follow.
Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.
If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
