MILLER, Nelson Bruce

Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, on Wednesday August 17th, 2022 in his 80th year. Loving husband of Victoria (nee Roberts) for 50 years. Beloved father of Scott (Maria) and Paul (Nicole). Proud grandfather of Samuel, Micheline and Oliver. Brother of Daniel (Lillian) and the late Gwendolyn (Eric Lawton). Son of the late Walter and Margaret Miller (nee Jackson). Nelson was born February 20th, 1942 in Lachine, Quebec. He worked as an electrician for most of his life. He enjoyed spending time at the cottage, swimming, fishing and driving his remote controlled tugboat around in the water. He also would be up to have a glass of Coca-Cola anytime and pet every dog he saw. The family would like to thank all the staff at Southlake that took care of Nelson – as well as our family, friends and church family that have supported us.
Visitation will be held at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, Newmarket, on Thursday, August 25 from 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 26 at Cedarview Community Church, Newmarket, at 11 a.m. with one hour of visitation prior in the church, following the service please join the family for refreshments in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to PAOC Missions via Cedarview Community Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

The service will be live streamed for all those who cannot attend the funeral in person.
