Passed away peacefully at MacKenzie Health Long Term Care in Richmond Hill on Friday, October 12, 2019 in his 88th year. Loving husband of 52 years of Elsie (2006). Beloved father of Lesley (Dave) Mitchell and Wendy (Ed) Liczyk. Proud and loving granddad of Natalie (Eric), Mark (Holly), Andrea, Peter and Colin. Great granddad of Eason, Reese, Elsie, Cullen, Mabel and Brynn. Brother in law of Eric Ward and family of Waterloo. Uncle of Dorothy, Ellen, Katie and Peter of England.
Special thanks to the caring staff of Alexander Muir Retirement Residence and the long term care facility of MacKenzie Health. Friends may call at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a memorial service at 12 noon. Family interment will be at Newmarket Cemetery following a reception.
