Passed away peacefully at her home in Newmarket on Friday, November 22, 2024, in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Albert Brunson. Born in Scarborough to the late James and Nellie (Risebrough) Whitney. Sister of Murray Whitney and the late Isabel Gummow, June Beebe, and Carman Whitney. Beloved mother of Caroline McGillivray (Allan) and Barbara Brunson (Geoffrey Loker). Proud grandmother of Bethany (Lea Collingwood), Matthew (Jodi), Emily, Benjamin, and Daniel.
Great-grandmother of Felicity, Sybil and Nathan Collingwood, and Elijah, Devlin, and Nolan McGillivray.
Eileen was loving and generous with all who knew her - a good friend, dedicated community volunteer, and devoted to her faith.
The family would like to thank the wonderful nursing team at SRT MedStaff for their help and guidance in walking us through this final chapter.
