May 23rd, 1951 - November 26th, 2022
Passed away peacefully at Michael Garron Hospital, on November 26th, 2022, in his 71st year. Loving husband of Elizabeth (Betty) (nee McBride) for 50 years this past October. Beloved Father of Alyssa (Colin), Stephanie (Alex), Peter (Sarah), and Nicole (Euan). Proud Papa of Andrew, Logan, Isabella, Matthew, Owen, Isla, Lauren, Charlotte, Hannah, Thomas, and Connor. He was an ever caring brother for Athina Perez (Albert) and the son of the late Ellan and Peter Branidis.
He worked at CBS as a maintenance mechanic in Toronto, and eventually settled into a career at Magna in Newmarket where he worked as a Millwright for over 25 years. We inherited many wonderful traits as a family from our father. A few that stand out are his contagious sense of humor and desire to have fun together, and his commitment to provide for his family through a tireless work ethic.
We are all very grateful to have such a loving and caring father. We wish to say thank you to the team at Michael Garron Hospital for their commitment to our father’s care over the past five months.
Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket on Friday December 2nd, 2022. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, and a funeral service will be held in the chapel from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the ALS Society of Canada.
