It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Bowman on September 4, 2022 at the age of 76.
Born in Toronto on October 4, 1945 he was the son of the late Victor and Lillian Bowman. He worked as a mechanic for both Ford and GM and later became the Customer Service Manager for the former car dealership, Bob Johnston Chevrolet in Scarborough.
He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Judy (nee Large). Fondly remembered by his children Darlene Murray (Tom) and Travis Bowman (Samantha). Proud Grandfather to Amanda Kelly (Curtis) and Devin Murray (Nyx). Extremely proud Great Grandfather to Connor. Survived by sister Beryl Gemert. Predeceased by his sister’s Carol McKellar & Brenda Rudat.
A celebration of life will be held on September 16, 2022 at Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main St. S., Newmarket from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Parkinson Canada or Diabetes Canada.
