Canada beats Americans in four sets in Volleyball Nations League

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. — The Canadian men's team defeated the United States in four sets on Saturday in Volleyball Nations League pool play.

Canada won the match 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 25-17 to break the host team's five-match winning streak.

Stephen Maar scored 18 points for Canada while Ryan Sclater added 15 and middle blocker Graham Vigrass had 12.

Matt Anderson had 19 points for the United States.

Canada is 2-0 after beating China and now faces Japan on Sunday.
