York Transit hiking fares again on July 1

The Region of York is implementing a three-year strategy to reach a revenue-to-cost target that has seen annual increases that began in July 1, 2017

Following the three-year fare strategy for York Region Transit (YRT), the next fare adjustment will occur on July 1, 2019. The fare adjustment offsets rising operating costs and supports the cost of delivering service.
