Chief Eric Jolliffe is proud to announce York Regional Police has been named, for the fourth year running, one of the Greater Toronto Area top employers for 2019, a designation that recognizes employers who lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

Greater Toronto’s Top Employers competition is an editorial project by Mediacorp Canada Inc., the nation’s largest publisher of employment periodicals. The Top Employers project recognizes employers with exceptional human resources programs and forward-thinking workplace policies. Employers are graded on eight criteria, which have remained consistent since the project's inception: Physical Workplace; Work Atmosphere & Social; Health, Financial & Family Benefits; Vacation & Time-Off; Employee Communications; Performance Management; Training & Skills Development and Community Involvement.

“Every member of our organization can take pride in this designation,” said Chief Eric Jolliffe. “Our members work hard to ensure the safety and security of our community and I am proud that as an employer, we offer progressive programs to support them. Our people, together with our community, have made York Regional Police the success it is.”
