York Region District School Board is flying the Pride Flag throughout June to mark Pride Month.
Staff, students, parents, trustees and community members attended a flag-raising ceremony this morning at the school board's headquarters in Aurora.
The board celebrates Pride Month every June and works closely with community partners and 2SLGBTQ+ organizations on an ongoing basis to build strong, more inclusive communities that celebrate diversity, according to a news release.
