York Regional Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing woman who was last seen near Markham Stouffville Hospital in the Ninth Line and Church Street area of Markham.
Virginia Mitchell, 64, is described at five feet, seven inches tall, and was wearing blue jeans, a beige shirt and carrying a knapsack.
York police issued the alert on social media at 5:48 a.m., and said Mitchell may be confused. Family and the local force are concerned for the woman’s well-being.
