  • Pickering - Oshawa - Southern Durham Region
  • Uxbridge - Beaverton - Northern Durham Region
  • Vaughan - Richmond Hill - Markham

Winter weather travel advisory in effect for overnight into early Tuesday morning.

A band of snow will move through southern Ontario beginning near midnight. Snow will continue overnight with total amounts of 4 to 8 cm expected by early Tuesday morning. Brief freezing rain is possible overnight.

Poor winter driving conditions from accumulating snow and low visibility in briefly heavier snow are likely overnight into early Tuesday morning. The first half of the morning commute may be affected. Motorists should allow extra time to reach their destination.

Snow will change over to rain or drizzle Tuesday morning as a warm front moves through and temperatures rise above the zero degree mark.
