A teen girl was taken to hospital with injuries early this afternoon after being assaulted on the trails in Aurora by an unknown male suspect, York Regional Police said on social media this afternoon.
A heavy police presence can be expected at John West Way, north of Wellington Road.
York police said “the initial information is that the victim was assaulted by an unknown male suspect in the trails to the west”.
