From Halifax in Nova Scotia, to Kelowna in British Columbia, the Sgt. Wilson’s Army Show® will be travelling across Canada, just like the wartime shows that boosted morale during and after World War II.

Only this time, instead of shipping entertainers from Canada and the U.S. to the troops in Europe, the sound, lighting, equipment and stars are coming from The Netherlands to Canada, for a total of 33 shows - recreating the sounds and sights of the era.

The professional not-for-profit musical theatre group has brought its Sgt Wilson’s Army Show to Canada before. Not tribute artists, but performers presenting the original sounds of the ‘40s and ‘50s, from Glenn Miller to the Andrews Sisters, Doris Day, Vera Lynn, Frankie Laine and many more.

It’s a unique experience - and a lot of fun.

This year’s tour is actually an “Air Force” show. Sgt. Wilson's Air Force Show, Music in the Hangar will feature a backdrop of a vintage World War II airplane – and will be in Bradford, at the Danube Seniors Leisure Centre, 715 Simcoe Road, on Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are only $20 for an evening of nostalgia and refreshments. Available at the Centre,  or call 705-775-0612 to reserve.
