Sacred Heart hosting high school information nights

The York Catholic District School Board (YCDSB) is holding high school information nights Nov. 7 and Nov. 21 for Newmarket Grade 8 students and their parents.

Attendees will have an opportunity to tour Sacred Heart Catholic High School, learn about innovative program options, and connect with staff and student ambassadors. 

The regular program, advanced placement and PACE information night is Nov. 7 and the regional arts program information night is Thursday, Nov. 21, both at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic High School, 908 Lemar Rd., Newmarket, 905-895-3340. 

Parents are advised to confirm scheduling on the school website as the schedule may be subject to change.

Students can also explore options at the YCDSB's seven high school regional programs and specialist high skills major offerings.

Admission to York Catholic high schools is open to all students, in accordance with provisions of the Education Act governing open access, and a student’s right to attend.
