Just in time for back to school, students from Grade 1 to university level can take advantage of a new service being offered by Newmarket Public Library: Brainfuse HelpNow, offering live online tutoring every day from 2 to 11 p.m. EST.

Students can communicate in real-time through the library’s Online Library with tutors at Brainfuse HelpNow who will provide help with skills building, homework, and preparing for tests.

“We are thrilled to be offering students in our community with this great educational service,” says Tracy Munusami, the library’s CEO. “It is an excellent addition to the library’s existing eLearning services and provides students with a personalized learning experience.”

Brainfuse HelpNow joins other eLearning services available through the library’s Online Library, including STEM Village, Gale Courses, and Mango languages.

To access Brainfuse HelpNow students require a valid Newmarket Public Library Card. Then they can log in and get help for a wide range of subjects, including Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, History, Geography and Language Arts.

Students can log on to the service using any computer with an internet connection, whether at home or on the library’s public use computers. They communicate with tutors using an interactive whiteboard to write, draw, and copy and paste text or images relating to the subject being studied. All live tutoring sessions can be saved and replayed later for review.

Brainfuse also features Writing Lab, available 24/7. Students can submit papers at any time of the day. Their papers will be reviewed by a tutor, who will respond with comments.

Teaching tools are also available for independent study that include grade level tests and customized study plans and lessons.

Brainfuse HelpNow tutoring can be accessed through the library’s Online Library under eLearning https://bit.ly/nplonlinelib
