New kiosk offers one-stop access to municipal services

Residents can pay property tax, parking tickets and more at the Newmarket Seniors' Meeting Place

A new kiosk at the Newmarket Seniors’ Meeting Place will make it easier for residents to access municipal services such as property tax and parking ticket payments, and more.

The Customer Service Kiosk will be open during regular business hours Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The kiosk will be closed each day from 1 to 2 p.m.

The following services will be available to residents:

  • Recreation and culture program registration and membership
  • Waste and recycling sticker and bin sales
  • Property tax payments
  • Parking ticket payments
  • Animal licensing

Members can take advantage of a variety of social, educational and health-related activities, including bus trips to Casino Rama, yoga classes, special events and lunch Monday to Thursday at noon.

Membership fees are $35 for residents and $55 for non-residents. Replacement cards are $5.

Members receive reduced fees for programs, bus trips and special events, and a reduction on hall rentals. Membership is for those aged 55 years and older or under 55 who are married to a member who is over 55. Participants are required to have a valid membership or purchase a $2 day pass to participate in all day time drop-in program activities. All participants are required to have a valid membership to participate in evening drop-in program activities. ​​
