Missing Newmarket man spotted on video in Aurora

Eric Harden, 32, who was previously last seen leaving a Newmarket home June 30, was in Aurora July 5, police say

Video surveillance shows a missing Newmarket man was at an Aurora bank July 5, updating the last location at which he was seen.

Eric Harden, 32, was at the BMO bank at Yonge and Wellington streets, according to video surveillance photographs released on social media by York Regional Police this afternoon.

Previously, he was last seen June 30 leaving a residence on Flanagan Street in Newmarket, then walking north on Yonge toward Mulock Road.

He has not been in contact with his family and they have not been able to reach him, according to York Regional Police. 

He is described as:

  • Male, white,
  • 6 feet 1 inches, 155 lbs, thin build,
  • short red hair, beard — the video indicates he no longer has a beard,
  • wearing a blue t-shirt, blue jeans, blue running shoes, and carrying a red Goodlife bag. The updated clothing description includes a baseball cap and he is carrying a backpack.
