The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority advises that conditions are ideal this evening for severe thunderstorms and potential localized flooding.

All watercourses in our area may experience higher than normal water levels, according to the authority, and local streams and rivers may become dangerous, especially in the vicinity of culverts and bridges.

Please alert children in your care to stay away from all water bodies and supervise their activities.

The watershed conditions statement is in effect through Tuesday, July 30.
