Whether they’ve been naughty or nice this year, bring your pet to the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre’s Paws & Claus Holiday Market Nov. 24 to get into the festive spirit.
The Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre welcomes pet owners on Saturday, Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Fluffy and Fido can meet Old Saint Nick and request that favourite treat or fun new toy they’ve been dreaming about. Pet owners will receive a professional photo of their four-legged friend with Santa for a $10 donation.
As the kids keep themselves entertained with animal-themed craft making, peruse the holiday marketplace to find the perfect gift for that special someone on your list. From unique gifts to must-have pet products, the marketplace has something for everyone. And if that doesn’t get you into the holiday spirit, festive treats and hot chocolate are sure to sweeten your mood.
To help make the holidays special for the animals at the centre, there is an Amazon wish list on the Provincial Education & Animal Centre’s website. You can purchase an item from the list and bring it to the Paws & Claus Holiday Market, or items can be sent directly to the animal centre. Each item will be wrapped and given to animals awaiting adoption to open on Christmas day.
“Join us as we deck the halls and get into the festive spirit,” says Elizabeth Westover, Manager, Ontario SPCAProvincial Education & Animal Centre. “This is a fun event for the whole family, and a great way to support animals at the centre.”
Please note that dogs must be on leash and cats must be in a carrier.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will help the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre continue the life-saving work it does each and every day.
