Area transit agencies recruiting female special constables

Special Constables from York Region Transit (YRT), Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Metrolinx (GO) and Ottawa Carleton Transportation (OC) are co-hosting the second annual Transit Special Constable Women’s Symposium to encourage more women to join the field. Women currently make up only between 9 per cent and 15 per cent of Transit Special Constables.

The symposium will provide opportunities to meet, hear and ask questions from Transit Special Constables from across the four transit agencies.
