The Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association Bradford chapter is hosting its annual Interfaith Conference, on the topic Empowerment of Women Through Their Faith, in Cookstown on Saturday, June 3.

Each year, the association brings forth a topic that can allow multi-faith speakers to highlight the similarities and differences of their faith in a harmonious and peaceful manner.

The event from 3 to 5 p.m. features speakers from a variety of faiths and is open to all women in local communities.

"Providing an opportunity like this allows members of the town and community to better understand and respect each other’s cultures and religions. We thrive to build our programs around the motto of our community, “Love for all, hatred for none,” the association stated in a news release.

There will be booths and stalls for attendees to explore. Refreshments will be served.

The event will take place in a private school facility, 4073 4th Line, and is for women only.
