Last month I had to spend some time being looked after by the doctors, nurses and others on the cardiac floor at Southlake Regional Health Centre, including part of the time in ICU. I am truly thankful to all the staff, particularly the doctors and nurses.

The nurses I saw every day could not have looked after me any better. As well as providing the essential nursing care, these wonderful nurses helped to keep my spirits up and showed great kindness. This quality of care made such a big difference to my stay and was greatly appreciated.

Also, all of the tests that were performed indicated to me how thorough the investigations were to get to the bottom of my problem. Furthermore, the after care since I was discharged has been very thorough and for that too I am grateful.

A big thank you to to all these amazing medical staff who are doing the best they can under difficult circumstances due to number of people who need care and the difficulties caused by the pandemic.
