No school, child care cases in Newmarket; York Region declares its first school outbreak at Blue Willow P.S. in Vaughan; Ontario reports 51 more school cases, totalling 141

York Region Public Health is reporting its first confirmed COVID-19 school outbreak today at Blue Willow Public School in Vaughan.

The school, which was previously under surveillance when a staff member tested positive with a case transmitted outside of the school, is reporting one student and one staff positive for COVID-19, according to regional spokesperson Patrick Casey.

The school remains open, however, one classroom is in self-isolation, Casey said.
