  • new outbreak at Blue Door Shelter; 1 resident, 1 staff member 
  • 152 (+5) individuals have died of outbreak-acquired COVID-19
  • 608 (+3) residents/patients
  • 482 (+1) health-care workers

  • 876 (+1) cases, or 37 per cent, institutional outbreak
  • 60, or 3 per cent, workplace outbreak
  • 710 (+13) cases, or 30 per cent, close contact
  • 448 cases (+3), or 19 per cent, community transmission

  • 428 (+9) cases age 20 to 34, or 18 per cent

  • 26,866 confirmed cases of COVID-19
  • 383 new confirmed cases since May 26
  • 34 more deaths, totalling 2,189
  • 833 cases are hospitalized; 137 in intensive care units; 94 on ventilators
  • 20,673 resolved, 76.9 per cent of cases
  • 17,615 more tests completed, with 11,868 awaiting results

Institutional Outbreaks

  • 298 outbreaks at long-term care homes, 191 active
  • 138 (+2) outbreaks at retirement homes, 91 active
  • 84 outbreaks at hospitals, 50 active
  • 1,377 long-term care resident deaths; 5 (+1) health-care workers
  • 134 deaths at retirement homes
  • 66 deaths at hospitals
  • 4,964 cases are long-term care residents; 351 hospital patients
  • 4,577 cases, or 17 per cent, are health-care workers
