  • 56 (+1) institutional outbreaks; 31 closed
  • 127 (+2) individuals have died of outbreak-acquired COVID-19
  • 524 (+3) residents/patients
  • 452 (+5) health-care workers

  • 776 (+6) cases, or 37 per cent, institutional outbreak
  • 53 (+3) cases, or 2 per cent, workplace outbreak
  • 616 (+10) cases, or 30 per cent, close contact
  • 408 (+2) cases, or 20 per cent, community transmission
  • 383 cases age 80+, or 18 per cent
  • 373 cases age 20 to 34, or 18 per cent

Ontario (reported at 10:30 a.m. today):

  • 23,774 confirmed cases of COVID-19
  • 390 new confirmed cases since May 19
  • 43 more deaths, totalling 1,962
  • 991 cases are hospitalized; 160 in intensive care units; 120 on ventilators
  • 18,190 resolved, 76.5 per cent of cases
  • 7,382 more tests completed, with 4,444 awaiting results

  • 284 outbreaks at long-term care homes, 219 active
  • 115 outbreaks at retirement homes, 80 active
  • 78 outbreaks at hospitals, 56 active
  • 1,224 long-term care resident deaths; 4 health-care workers
  • 125 deaths at retirement homes
  • 53 deaths at hospitals
  • 4,518 cases are long-term care residents; 329 hospital patients
  • 4,111 cases, or 17.3 per cent, are health-care workers
