ONTARIO: Bullet comes 'within inches' of sleeping toddler in Angus shooting

TOWNSHIP OF ESSA - On Sunday, Oct. 28 2018, at approximately 11:45 p.m., shots were fired into two occupied residences on Admiral Crescent, Village of Angus, Essa Township.

Nottawasaga OPP officers attended the area and were unable to locate the scenes; however the adjacent residents of two properties later reported that bullets had been fired into their residences.

No injuries were reported. One of the bullets came within inches of a sleeping toddler.

Nottawasaga OPP, Nottawasaga Street Crime and Nottawasaga Crime Unit are actively investigating this incident and are seeking the assistance of the public. Area residents are encouraged to review their security systems, dashcam recorders for suspicious activities or vehicles between 11 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29 2018 and 1 a.m.. Monday, Oct. 29 2018 and contact the Nottawasaga OPP Street Crime Unit at 705 434 1939.
