Premier Doug Ford is scheduled to make an announcement in Windsor at 3 p.m. today.
Ford is expected to meet with the region's mayors to discuss Windsor-Essex's economic recovery from COVID-19. This region was the last in Ontario to move to Stage 3 of the province's reopening framework.
Ford will be joined by Kinga Surma, Associate Minister of Transportation (GTA), and Monte McNaughton, Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development, to make the announcement.
