NewmarketToday, in partnership with the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre, brings you Adopt Me, a regular feature highlighting special pets in need of adoption.

Zoey, affectionately called Zo-Zo, is a 10-year-old American Bulldog. She was brought to the Ontario SPCA in January when her owner no longer had time to care for her special needs.

Zoey is a dog in her retirement years and is looking for a home where her adopter would be home often and perhaps retired, too.

She’s the most gentle and sweet 72 pounds you’ll ever meet. Zoey loves all people, is great with children and knows the command “give me a kiss”!

Zoey is a happy, comfortable dog, but has slight incontinence. She would benefit from an adopter who can let her outside frequently to eliminate.

In the Meet Your Match program, Zoey is defined as a constant companion. She will be happy to sit at your feet, walk by your side and be your devoted companion.

Zoey is fixed, microchipped, vaccinated and is ready to be adopted at the Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre in Stouffville.

Can Zoey spend her golden years loved in your home? To learn more about how to adopt Zoey or other animals at our Centre, visit peac.ontariospca.ca or call 905-898-7122, ext. 306.
