Piper

Have you ever heard of a pocket chocolate?

Piper is a petite five-year-old chocolate lab mix, or as her friends lovingly refer to her, a “pocket chocolate.” Piper came into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society in July from a shelter that was reaching capacity and needed assistance to find loving homes for some of its animals.

Piper is full of energy and loves everyone she meets. She is always ready to play with a toy or have her belly rubbed. She knows cues “Sit” and “Paw” and is very food motivated, which will help with training. She would be best suited to a home with no smaller pets.

Piper would make an excellent addition to a home that is active and excited to continue teaching her new skills. Piper is available for adoption at the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre in Stouffville. If you’re interested in adopting Piper, email [email protected]
