Nova

Nova is a three-year-old pug-bulldog mix who came into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society when her family could no longer care for her. She’s now looking for a loving family willing to give her the happy life she deserves.

Nova loves one-on-one attention and enjoys relaxing outdoors, napping on the couch and eating treats – who doesn’t?! Nova has not lived with cats before but has been very good when meeting other dogs. She can be nervous of new people but forms a loving bond once she gets to know and trust you. The animal care team at the Ontario SPCA York Region Animal Centre took their time with Nova and allowed her to make friends on her terms.  Now she’s a cuddly lovebug with her favourite people.

Nova is ready to find her forever home. Could it be with you? If you’re interested in adopting Nova, please email [email protected]. Veterinary professionals help us keep our pets happy and healthy, which is why it’s time to celebrate and thank them! The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society has partnered with participating SPCAs and humane societies across the province to launch its Veterinary Appreciation Campaign, which runs from June 13-24. To celebrate the people who care for your pet, nominate your veterinary clinic for the Veterinary Appreciation Contest at vetappreciation.ca
