Easter
In May 2019, 70 cats from an animal shelter in Northern Ontario were welcomed into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society to give them a chance to find new homes in communities across the province where there is a demand for adoptable pets.
The cats came from the Second Chance Pet Network in Dryden, located approximately 140 kilometres east of Kenora. Nearing capacity, the shelter reached out to the Ontario SPCA for help rehoming the felines.
The Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre in Stouffville has one remaining northern cat looking for a home! This sweetheart named Easter is a three-year-old manx. Her name was given to her by a family who found her outside on Easter day in 2018.
Easer loves people and is very affectionate! You’ll often find her curled up in the lap of a volunteer at the adoption centre. She would prefer a family all to herself, with no other pets.
The Ontario SPCA Provincial Education & Animal Centre wants to see Easter find a forever home! Easter is fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated.
