Adopt Me: Brush is a sweetheart waiting for a loving home

Brush (pronounced broosh) is a nine-year-old cat that came into the care of the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society in early January when her family could no longer care for her.

After taking some time to acclimatize to her new environment and get to know us, she became quite the lovable sweetheart! She will now come out to see you after a few head pets, rubbing up against your hand with loving purrs. She loves to have her chin and cheeks scratched.

Brush is a shy but incredibly sweet cat who will be happiest in a quiet home without children or other animals. We believe that she will become a truly amazing companion for someone who is cat savvy and will allow her time to show her true colours. Her last home loved her very much and we have seen how much she has to offer since she has been with us.

A kind donor has paid Brush’s adoption fee to help her find a home. If Brush sounds like the cat for you, please email [email protected] for more information. To see more animals available for adoption, visit ontariospca.ca/adopt

National Cupcake Day, presented by Milk-Bone® and Robin Hood®, is coming up on Feb. 28 and this year marks the 10-year anniversary of this delicious event in support of participating SPCAs, humane societies and rescue groups across Canada.

We’re challenging you to a cupcake decorating contest, so pre-heat those ovens, mix up some icing and enter your most creative cupcake design in the National Cupcake Day Decorating Contest. Visit nationalcupcakeday.ca to register, fundraise and submit a photo of your cupcake creation for a chance to win some great prizes.
