Aurora seeking Input for Town Park Playground Upgrades

article-4-town-park-1

In a bid to elevate the community’s recreational experience and create an inclusive space for all, the Town of Aurora has unveiled plans for a major overhaul of the Town Park playground. The project aims to replace the aging structures with modern, universal, and barrier-free playground components, and replacing the existing mulch will a state-of-the-art rubber-type safety surface, ensuring accessibility for everyone.

Community members are invited to join us at the Armoury on Wednesday, February 7, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. for our Public Information Centre where they can actively participate in the decision-making process by sharing their thoughts on design concepts, accessibility features, and any other considerations for the upgraded playground.

For those unable to attend the event in person, an online option is available. Visit EngageAurora.ca/TownParkUpgrades to access detailed information about the project, explore various design options and provide your feedback online. Your input will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Town Park Playground, creating a space that truly reflects the needs and desires of the Aurora community.
