 A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run collision in Bradford West Gwillimbury Saturday night.

South Simcoe Police are appealing for witnesses following the collision on Holland Street West near Langford Boulevard at about 11:39 p.m. May 4.

The incident began with an interaction between a driver of a two-door silver sports sedan and a pedestrian. After the interaction, the vehicle circled back and struck the pedestrian, police said.

The vehicle, driven by a white male in his 50s with black hair and a black beard, had a female passenger described as white, with blonde hair and in her mid-40s. The vehicle continued eastbound on Holland Street West from the scene of the collision.

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash cam footage in and around the area of Holland Street West between 11:30 and 11:50 p.m. on May 4 to come forward.
